How To Put The Back On A Blink Doorbell

Is there a trick to attaching the mount to the camera?

I merely got the outdoor cameras that came with mounts. I set them up in the app and wanted to try attaching the mount earlier I put the mount up and I just cannot for the life of me get the mount to adhere to the camera. Is there some pull a fast one on to information technology, or exercise I just have to find someone stronger?

level 1

They practise take quite a chip of force to popular on. It's a good thing. They are pretty securely on there one time you go it in. Requite information technology washed extra force. Youll become it.

level 2

I fix ii cameras yesterday. One went on hands and the other one gave me a fight.

level ane

Did you lot accept the safe circle off?

level 2

Yes, I did. I merely don't accept the forcefulness, obviously, to brand it work.

level ii

What runner circumvolve? I am having a difficult fourth dimension getting mine installed.

level 1

Try putting it in at an bending, at that place are modest raised elements on the mounting "circle" which go within the "hole". If you lot get i of these in showtime (at an angle), so pop the remaining half into the hole

level 2

According to the Blink website you are supposed to be able to apply it with or without the right bending adapter. I tried both ways and yet couldn't become it to attach to the camera.

level 2

The right bending adapter does non "accept" to be used with the mountain. Information technology works without it also.

level one

Worst friggin' product design. Ever.

level ane

Freaking rediculous. I literally take blood coming out of 1 of my fingers from the strength used to try to attach. Withal won't go on. Returning this shit

level one

It takes an insane amount of force to get the camera on the mount, just pops off with relative ease. Kind of backward logic (in my opinion).

level ane

Seriously, fuck these mounts. About impossible to get on. I'thou pressing down with my full body weight.

Edit: I recollect I bent 1. Worst fucking design. Crazy difficult to get them on, only there's no good identify to apply pressure. All the force has to go through the joint, which also rotates.

level ii

I gave up. Sending information technology dorsum lol the nest is probably meliorate anyway

level 1

I slammed it on the counter while yelling at information technology and information technology worked

level 1

Bruh I did it! I came to this thread for this very reason. I put information technology on the counter and aligned it. Using both hands I pushed downward hard and pulled downwardly. It fastened finally. I swear that was ridiculously hard. They really need to work on that product design. Insanely stupid.

level 1

Struggling as we speak. Female parent'south Solar day cursing. Awesome. Edit...and simply like that it clicked with not as well likewise much force. Weird but information technology's on.

level 1

I took a box knife and sheared off a flake of the within of the hole on the camera. Yes!

level 1

Merely had to install these for my parents.

  1. If you press Hard and turn at the same time you should exist able to get 2 out of the 3 little clips into the hole.

  2. And then place the camera face downward on something soft

  3. position the volcano mount to the side already snapped in

  4. use screw driver or needle nose pliers to push button the third prune downwards into the hole.

Horrible mounting design. Especially since they take the thread insert for the photographic camera dorsum already.

level 1

I actually had a difficult time to push button 3 clips in. I ended up using Channellock plier to clip the the mount in. I put duct tape on both jaws of Channellock plier. It works for me. I still have protection film on my camera. So at that place is no notable impairment on my camera. Hopefully my feel helps somebody. But you lot know at that place is a take chances.
